You become part of the machine, the machine that is driven by the motor of Komfortrauschen. Three precision-obsessed control freaks that have honed their craft to a German industrial perfection. An uncompromised sound welded together from propelling drums, deep unrepentant bass lines and a searing guitar that bites through like acid. They convert their mechanical energy into hedonistic live techno that is impossible to resist. Only thing is, there is no emergency stop!
Komfortrauschen is a live band from Berlin that creates the powerful sound of a techno DJ set in their very own analogue fashion with traditional instruments, filtered through an impressive array of pedals and effects. Imagine a punk band trapped inside a drum computer, the Prodigy being a Berghain resident, Richie Hawtin meets Rammstein. The pure ecstasy and machine accuracy of techno enriched with the fresh energy and playfulness of a live band. Since the band was formed in 2014, Komfortrauschen have played regularly in famous German clubs like Sisyphos, Kantine am Berghain and Kater Blau as well as all over Europe and beyond. Now they’re about to hit the stages worldwide!

Man nehme einen Basssaxofonisten, einen Trompeter, einen Tenorsaxofonisten, Baritonsaxophonisten und zwei Schlagzeuger. Dazu eine Portion House, Techno und treibende Rhythmen. Herauskommt ein mitreißendes Bandrezept namens NAFT.
Im Sommer 2018 debütierten sie in den Straßen von Gent und sorgten dort für ordentlich Furore. 2019 folgte eine große Tour durch Belgien & die Niederlande. Im gleichen Jahr entstand eine bahnbrechende Zusammenarbeit zusammen mit Twerkshop. Korrekt, wie es der Name schon sagt: „Es wird getwerkt Baby!“ Kein Hintern bleibt hier unbewegt und auch müde Beine fangen an zu tanzen. NAFT ft. Twerkshop haben die Energie einer stampfenden Herde, die bereit ist die Musikwelt ordentlich aufzumischen.

HENGE sind nicht von dieser Welt. Sie sind ein Kollektiv von Außerirdischen, vereint um den Planeten Erde zu retten. Ihr Sound ist psychedelisch kombiniert mit kosmischen Klängen und elektronischen Beats. Als Live Act sollte man sie auf keinen Fall verpassen, denn sie nehmen ihre Zuhörer*innen mit auf eine schräge und bunte musikalische Reise.
Mit ihrer LP Cosmic Dross (Juli 2017) haben sie sich in der alternativen Festival-Community einen Namen gemacht. Henge sprechen ein breites Publikum an und glänzten bereits auf Festivals, wie z.B. Fusion, Womad oder auch Bluedot. 2018 sind sie bei den UK Independent Awards zum besten Live-Act gewählt worden.
Elektronischer Wahnsinn für die Ohren – praktisch galaktisch.
HENGE is a band of extra-terrestrials that bring with them the sacred sounds of Cosmic Dross – a musical form known in other parts of the universe that has, until now, never been heard on Planet Earth. There are no human words to adequately describe the Cosmic Dross experience. HENGE have come to Earth in the name of rave to spread their message of love and harmony. Since their landing, they have been so well received by the human species that they won Best Live Act at the 2018 Independent Festival Awards. Their debut album – on this planet at least – ATTENTION EARTH! was released at the end of last year.

Berlin Boom Orchestra sind neun Leute und machen Reggae mit fettem Gebläse, rotzigem Charme und Lyrics auf Deutsch – eine Mischung aus Kreuzberg und Kingston, karibische Vibes garniert mit Döner-Sauce. Entspannte Grooves treffen auf Berliner Schnauze, Pro-Homo auf knallharten Dancehall und beißende Kritik auf verkifften Dub. „Wer haut dem Volk aufs Maul?“ fragt die Band und bläst zum anti-völkischen Volksfest: Eine zauberhafte Kombination aus musikalischen Seelen-Streicheleien und lyrischen Backpfeifen. In diesem Sinne sind Berlin Boom Orchestra Reggae Punks. Wer fühlen will, soll hören.
Ihr mittlerweile fünftes Album (VÖ 2021) heißt „Im Sitzen Geht’s“. Oder geht’s nicht? Wie immer ist das eine Frage der Sichtweise. Man muss schon ordentlich auf dem Beat sitzen, wenn es richtig nach vorne gehen soll. Wenn gar nix geht, sitzt man also so richtig falsch. Sitzt alles, geht was. Aber was geht, wenn alles sitzt? Und was muss sitzen, damit alles für alle geht? Diese und eigentlich alle anderen relevanten Fragen unserer Zeit beantwortet die Band auf Platte und live auf Tour. In Zeiten der Pandemie gerne auch im Sitzen. Wenn’s denn geht.
